SUMMIT, NJ - Team Captains from the State Champion Summit High School Football Team hit the books, visiting Jefferson Primary School and reading to Kindergarten students.

Eric Lyman, Andrew Masterfano, Charlie Terry and Colm Dougherty, along with Head Coach Kevin Kostibos, read stories and added a fun, interactive element to their visit which gave the children an opportunity to respond and engage them.

The visit was organized by Jefferson teacher Stefanie DeCarlo as part of "Read Across America", a week-long, national initiative to improve and increase reading comprehension among our children.
