BERKELEY HEIGHTS, NJ - The New York Red Bulls has signed a partnership agreement with Berkeley Heights Youth Soccer Club (BHYSC) to provide professional youth soccer training programs.
The Red Bulls will provide Berkeley Heights Youth Soccer Club with ongoing player development support, including player clinics, coach education workshops, team training and a summer camp program. The program provides the BHYSC with a unique opportunity to partner with a Major League Soccer team, benefitting from the network of training programs and youth soccer expertise. Professional Red Bulls trainers will be on hand to work with players and implement an age and ability specific curriculum.
“We are looking forward to our partnership and the opportunity to develop players in the local community,” said Dave Jervis, Red Bulls Director of Training Programs. “As a leader in youth soccer, it is important that we play an active role in the development of future soccer generations”.
The partnership will also help connect young players to the professional game. As part of the curriculum, players are actively encouraged to watch soccer games and are provided with an opportunity to attend a live professional match at Red Bull Arena, a start of the art soccer stadium, located in Harrison, NJ.
