MILLBURN, NJ - The Run For The Red 5K Race & Walk will take place on Sunday, December 8, starting at the Millburn Free Public Library. This fundraising event will support programs and services to help you, your family, and your neighbors prevent, prepare for and respond to emergencies.
Participants will enjoy a certified course with scoring by Compuscore, a USATF-NJ Grand Prix Event for 500 points, and a scenic "out and back" course through the tree-lined streets of the South Mountain Reservation. There will be awards presented for 5K finishers by age group, fundraising awards for teams, door prizes, a DJ, great snacks and plenty of fun! Additionally, Red Cross blood donors will be provided stickers on event day to recognize them as a “Life Saver.”
This is a rain, snow or shine event, so bee sure to dress appropriately for the weather. Register in person at "Packet Pick-Up" days December 6, and 7 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Sneaker Factory in Millburn or register on event day at the Library beginning at 8:30 a.m.
