Redeemer Lutheran School of Westfield, NJ, held its annual Mission Walk on Wednesday, May 22, 2013 to benefit Children's Specialized Hospital in Mountainside, NJ. Students in the school's early childhood and Kindergarten classes gathered, wearing 'I Like Redeemer' shirts, for the purpose of raising funds and awareness for the children of the local hospital.
Children's Specialized Hospital liaison Vivian Concepcion was in attendance as the children marched through the neighborhood, hoping to raise enough to be able to purchase soothing sound machines and infant crib mobiles for the youngest in need.
Diane Frusco, director of Redeemer Lutheran School, presented a final check to Ms. Concepcion on Wednesday, June 19, 2013 for the amount of $628.00.
