LIVINGSTON, NJ – The staff at the Regal Bank, Livingston Avenue Branch in Livingston held their first annual ‘Santa for Pets’ event this past Saturday where customers and local residents were invited to bring their pets in to have their picture taken with Santa Clause.

Dogs of all breeds, shapes and sizes visited Santa all day long and each pet was given a treat bag containing things like toys and treats.

“Having events like this one and the ‘Halloween Pawrade’ that we do in October allows our customers to see the fun that pet owners have with their pets and creates awareness about how important it is to consider adoption,” said Susan Speccio, Assistant Vice President of Regal Bank and the coordinator of ‘Santa for Pets.’

“I love animals and Christmas and that is why I do this.” Specchio will bring all pet donations to the Mount Pleasant Animal Shelter located on Route 10.

“We had a lot of people bring their dogs in and donate,” said Christina Slater, Regal Regional Manager. “It’s been a lot of fun today.”
