CRANFORD, NJ – The Office of Continuing Education at Union County College has posted the fall 2014 brochure online and registration is now open. Classes are offered for adults as well as youth ages 11-18 and programs run from mid-September through mid-December. Classes are offered in professional development, career enhancement, leisure and personal enrichment, English as a Second Language (ESL), and courses in Spanish are available.
New professional development classes being offered this fall include Your Business Image, Crafting Your Visions into Reality: The Circle of Life Coaching Blueprint for Success, Introduction to Lean Six Sigma, and Introduction to Data Analysis. In addition, three courses which lead to certification by the Fiber Optics Association include Certified Fiber Optics Technician (CFOT), Certified Fiber Optics Specialist in Testing and Maintenance (CFOS/T) and Certified Fiber Optics Specialist Outside Plant (CFOS/O).
New enrichment classes include Kickboxing/Workout, Fall Floral Centerpieces, Christmas Floral Decorations, Digital Photography for Beginners, Introduction to Playwriting, Screenwriting Introduction and Seva Stress Release for Self-Care and Others.
