With the nation consumed with the coronavirus pandemic, TAPinto has launched its first signature virtual event, a panel discussion entitled, Riding the COVID-19 Wave: Hope & Concern, on January 14, 2021, at 6:00 p.m. This virtual gathering of some of the top medical experts and executives is free for attendees, but registration is required.
The panel, presented by Atlantic Health System and moderated by Communications Consultant and former City Editor at the Star-Ledger, Bruno Tedeschi, will feature Dr. Michelle Cholankeril, Division Chief of Hematology/Medical Oncology at Trinitas Regional Medical Center; Lori Colineri, Senior Vice President and Chief Nursing Officer Central and Southern Region for RWJBarnabas Health, Dr. Don Liss, Chief Medical Officer at Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Jersey; Dr. Eric Perez, Chief Medical Officer at Atlantic Health System’s Chilton Medical Center; and Deborah Visconi, President and Chief Executive Officer of Bergen New Bridge Medical Center.
Riding the COVID-19 Wave: Hope & Concern will address topics including the status and efficacy of COVID-19 vaccinations, the most current treatments for those suffering from COVID-19, how emergency rooms are addressing the COVID-19 surge, how frontline healthcare workers are coping with the crisis, as well as insurance issues related to COVID-19 treatment.
