SOUTH ORANGE, NJ - South Orange's annual campout is back on Friday, September 14, when residents can pitch tents and brave the great outdoors locally in New Waterlands Park.

The campout is free, but campsites must be reserved in advance and there must be at least one responsible adult (who is a South Orange resident and stays for the entire event) in charge of every campsite and its participants, according to information about the campout on the South Orange website.

Campers must bring their own tents, and are welcome to bring their own games which are suitable for park use. The recreation department will provide sports equipment for volleyball, kickball and Frisbee.
