Rescue Underway For Five From Icy Budd Lake Waters

MOUNT OLIVE, NJ - A rescue effort is currently underway in Morris County, in the Budd Lake area of Mount Olive Township, for five individuals who reportedly fell through the ice.

According to reports, the call came in to the Mount Olive Police Department at approximately 6:30 p.m. There are two adults, and three children involved in the incident, with one rescued so far within the last half hour.
Byram and Stanhope Fire Departments are two Sussex County rescue organizations confirmed on the scene.
