RideWise, an affiliate of the Somerset County Business Partnership and Somerset County's transportation management association, has announced that nominations are being sought for participation in the New Jersey Smart Workplaces program.

The New Jersey Smart Workplaces program honors organizations and individuals who help reduce traffic congestion and improve air quality. The program was developed in 2006 by the New Jersey Department of Transportation working in conjunction with New Jersey's Transportation Management Associations.

Smart Workplaces recognizes the achievement of New Jersey employers who have developed and implemented significant and innovative alternative commute programs that attain the State Standard of Excellence. The requirements may be met with the assistance of RideWise staff.
