Road Work on Central Ave. in Westfield to Begin Monday

WESTFIELD, NJ — Road work on Central Avenue between North Avenue and South Avenue is set to begin on Monday, August 11, according to the Westfield Police Department. The work is expected to take approximately three days, weather permitting.

“At times it can be expected to be completely closed and heavy traffic delays should be expected,” said Police Chief David Wayman.

He recommended planning an alternate route, if possible.
