SPARTA, NJ –The Sparta High School will be taken over by robots on Saturday.  The Sparta High School robotics program is hosting a VEX IQ competition for elementary and middle school students.

Sparta High School Robotics coach Mark Meola said they anticipate approximately 120 teams will be competing from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m.

Students are invited to stop by to check out the event.  Meola said they are hoping to inspire an interest in STEM in younger students.  The high school students will be running the event.
