MORRISTOWN, NJ - It was French opera that helped define the 19th century as Romantic in all fields of the Arts; and, it was the music of the greatest French composers of all time that brought it to life: Massenet, Offenbach, Bizet, Delibes and others.
To recreate that magic era, the Bravo Alliance of Performing Artists will present an enchanting program of arias from the operas of those musical giants at the Bickford Theatre in the Morris Museum Sunday, September 20, 2015 at 3:00 PM.
Music Director and pianist David Maiullo will narrate this journey into the past as Sopranos Genya Muzyczka and Elizabeth Perryman, along with Tenor David Santiago, present a repertoire of music that reflects 19th-century attitudes, relationships characters had in that era, growth of the orchestrations and the realism of heightened emotions—the effects of which the 21st century continues to experience.
The BRAVO Alliance of Performing Artists is a 501(c)(3), not-for-profit organization dedicated to promoting the performing arts through established professional talents collaborating with aspiring performers in concerts of great scope and richness. All donations to Bravo are tax deductible.
