ROSELLE/ROSELLE PARK, NJ - Saturday’s weather was beautiful and a great day to get out of the house. If you were like many Roselle Park residents, you took a stroll downtown to the ribbon-cutting of the new Art & Soul art gallery.
Megan Connelly Accardi and Mayor Joseph Accardi owners of Art & Soul said that they were proud to bring this gallery to their community to help promote the arts in Roselle Park and to feature the works of local artists and are looking for new artists and works to show.
“We are very excited to be a part of the downtown business district and Megan and I hope to be a small part of giving back to the community,” Accardi said.
The mayor also presented the first painting to resident Lyman Thompson, who works for the Special Improvement District to keep Roselle Park streets clean.
Friends, family and residents watched as the ribbon was cut by Megan Connelly Accardi, and assisted by Roselle Park Mayor Joseph Accardi and Roselle Mayor Jamel C. Holley.
The Art & Soul Gallery is located at 128 Chestnut St. in Roselle Park.
