ROXBURY, NJ - The Roxbury High School field hockey team is now 2-0 following a Wednesday victory over Mount Olive.

The Gaels won the game, played at home, by a score of 2-1, with goals scored by Hanna Legotte and Taylor Woolford. Emily Stanich contributed to the victory with an assist and goalkeeper Toni Cacopardo made three saves. 

Roxbury's offense hammered Mount Olive goalkeeper Ashleigh Gallagher, who managed to block 10 shots. Mount Olive's Lindsey Walter scored the team's solo goal.

The Gaels are next scheduled to play Morris Knolls on Friday at 4 p.m.
