PARKLAND, FL- Florida cases continue to increase by close to 10,000 daily. The percent of positive results ranged from 10.56% to 14.83% over the past 2 weeks and was 11.08%on Friday, July 31, 2020. This percentage calculated is for people that test positive for the first time and does not include people that had previously tested positive.

Here are the current numbers as of the latest update on Saturday, August 1, 2020:

Florida has 480,028 confirmed cases of COVID-19, an increase of 9,642 in 1 day.

Broward County has 56,797 confirmed cases, an increase of 1,386 in 1 day.

Parkland has 327 confirmed cases, an increase of 12 in 1 day. 

Coral Springs has 2,422 confirmed cases, an increase of 64 in 1 day. 

Deaths in Florida related to COVID-19: 7,022 an increase of 179 in 1 day.

Broward County has 3,332 (5.9%) hospitalizations with 742 (1.3%) deaths due to COVID-19. Deaths increased by 33 in 1 day. The median age is 39.

Broward County Hospital Bed Availability: Hospitals have 919 (16.9%) beds available and 46 (8.7%) adult ICU beds available.
