Say It's Not Snow - Another 7-10 Inches Possible

WEST ORANGE, NJ - Another Winter Storm Warning has been issued by the National Weather Service, just one day after Mother Nature dumped over 8 inches of snow in West Orange.  The warning calls for snow to begin falling Wednesday, Feb. 5 around midnight, with possible snow accumulations of 4-8 inches. The warning is in effect from midnight to 6 p.m. on Feb. 5.

The wintry weather is expected to continue through Wednesday morning, with snow, freezing rain and sleet before noon; freezing rain and sleet between noon and 3 p.m., and snow and freezing rain after 3 p.m., with possible accumulations of  1-3 inches.

The West Orange Department of Public Works has been working non-stop to plow and de-ice the 100 miles of West Orange roads.  If residents have not had their roads plowed, they can contact the Department of Public Works at (923) 325-4067 or the Mayor's Office at (973) 325-4100.
