UNION, NJ - As the sun played hide and seek with the clouds on Saturday, the The 2019 Union County St. Patrick's Day Parade marched down Morris and Stuyvesant Avenues — in step with Irish tradition and community spirit.
Thousands of visitors converged to enjoy the bands, bagpipers, fire trucks, floats and dozens of organizations that participated in the nearly two-hour procession.
"I am thrilled with the parade today," said parade General Chairwoman Jessica Cunningham. "I want to thank Sister Percylee Hart for being such an amazing Grand Marshal and Parade Adjutant Kerry Ricci for all of her hard work in helping to put this parade together. It was a great day."
