UNION COUNTY, NJ -- Amid pipe bands, Boy Scouts, seeing-eye puppies and leprechauns on stilts, if was a member of the Irish order of the Sisters of Mercy, Union Catholic principal Sister Percylee Hart, who was the toast of the town (and the county) at the 23rd annual Union Catholic St. Patrick's Day Parade on Saturday, March 16. 

Sister Percylee led a large contingent of scholars, athletes, student council members, alumni, parents, friends and supporters from Union Catholic at the parade, which marches down Morris Ave. in Union Township. Groups representing police and fire departments, veterans, Catholic schools and Scout Troops from all across the county were represented at the parade, which celebrates the heritage of Irish Americans.
