Scotch Plains and John’s Meat Market Featured in Wall Street Journal

SCOTCH PLAINS, NJ – In its recent Real Estate Section, The Wall Street Journal featured the town of Scotch Plains.

While the emphasis was on homes, with pictures and information on selling prices, there was also an overview of the town that included mention of John’s Meat Market as an example of a successful, locally owned business.

Vincent Losavio, one of the owners of John’s Meat Market, said he was pleased and proud to have been included in the article, which also highlighted Scotch Plains’ “rich history”, and made mention of Shady Rest as the first African American-owned country club.
