SCOTCH PLAINS/FANWOOD, NJ -- Due to the destruction from tropical storm Isaias, both Scotch Plains and Fanwood have scheduled a special branch and storm debris collections through each town's DPW department.

Fanwood's Department of Public Works has scheduled its special one-time curbside pickup in all quadrants of the Borough beginning Monday, Aug. 10. Residents are asked to place their debris curbside in the street by 7:00 a.m. for pickup. If you have any questions, call the Department at 908-322-7404.

Scotch Plains plans its special storm cleanup of tree limbs, branches and other storm-related debris to begin Monday, Aug. 10, in order to give residents time to get items to the curb. The DPW requests that limbs and branches be cut into 4-foot lengths. Anything larger will not be removed. Please leave items in the curb, if possible, and do not block the right of way. This pick up will occur over the next two weeks, and there will be one pass-through on each street.
