Scotch Plains-Fanwood BLAX Routs Fair Lawn in State Tournament


SCOTCH PLAINS, NJ - The Scotch Plains-Fanwood varsity boys lacrosse team advanced in the first round of the NJSIAA North Jersey, Group 3 state tournament Saturday with a 16-4 victory over Fair Lawn.

Kevin Kerby led the way with five goals for the Raiders (16-3), giving him 100 points for his career. Kevin Charos had three goals and two assists and Scott Nizolak, Thomas Walker and Justin Giacona each netted a pair of goals in the victory.

Scotch Plains-Fanwood got seven saves from Cole Weber and six from Chris Duffy.
