Scotch Plains-Fanwood H.S. Hosts 4th Annual Jazz Festival on Friday, Feb. 28

Scotch Plains-Fanwood High School is ranked No. 76 in the state, according to NJ Monthly magazine.

SCOTCH PLAINS, NJ - Need to defrost with some heartwarming tunes?

Scotch Plains-Fanwood High School will host its fourth annual Jazz Festival on Friday, Feb. 28 at 5:30 p.m.  The performances will be held in the Manya Unger Memorial Auditorium. 

The show will feature performances by notable high school jazz bands from across the state, including Monroe Township, John P. Stevens, Bridgewater-Raritan and many others. Scotch Plains-Fanwood’s own Monday Night Jazz Lab and Thursday Night Jazz Lab will perform and SPF Jazz Band will close out the night.  The performances will be followed by an awards ceremony presented by SPF band members.

Tickets are $7 for adults and $5 for students and senior citizens and there will be a variety of confections available for purchase just outside the auditorium.  Proceeds will support the Scotch Plains-Fanwood High School’s jazz programs.
