SCOTCH PLAINS POLICE DEPARTMENT - POLICE ACTIVITY

3/31 - A resident of Valleyscent Ave.  reported being a victim of Criminal Mischief.  She stated that sometime overnight unknown suspect(s) scratched the side of her vehicle.

3/31 - The manager of a Route 22 gas station reported being a victim of Fraud.  He stated that an unknown suspect purchased gas and paid with a counterfeit $100 bill.

3/31 - A resident of Donsen Lane reported being victim of Fraud.  He stated that unknown suspect(s) opened up a credit card in his name without his authorization.  No purchases were made.

3/31 - A resident of Terrill Rd. reported being a victim of a Theft.  He stated that sometime overnight unknown suspect(s) removed his IPhone from a bench when he left it for a few minutes.  The IPhone was valued at approximately $600.

4/2 - Ibm Lockery Age. 23 of Country Club Lane Scotch Plains N.J. was arrested for a $500 outstanding warrant issued by the Milburn court.  Off. Fiore stopped Lockery for a motor vehicle violation on Route 22 and discovered the warrant.  He was transported to H.Q. where he was processed and released.

4/3 - Rodrigo Desousa Age. 34 of Green Brook Rd. Green Brook N.J. was arrested for a $165 outstanding warrant issued by the East Newark court.  Off. Rites stopped Desousa for a motor vehicle violation on Route 22 East Second St. and discovered the warrant.  He was transported to H.Q. where he was processed and released.

4/5 - Joseph Jaenchen Age. 27 of Wall St. Metuchen N.J. was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated. Off. VonLangen stopped Jaenchen for a motor vehicle violation on Route 22 and while speaking with him he smelled a strong odor of Alcohol.  After failing several field sobriety tests, Monteaperto was placed under arrest. He was arrested and transported to H.Q. where he was processed and released.

4/6 - A resident of Rahway Rd. reported being a victim of Criminal Mischief.  He stated that sometime overnight unknown suspect(s) scratched the side of his vehicle.
