Bibliophiles unite! On Monday, Dec. 10 at 7:00 p.m., the Evening Book Club will be meeting to discuss Their Eyes Were Watching God by Zora Neale Hurston. When Janie Starks returns home, she seeks identity and independence as the small southern black community buzzes with gossip about the outcome of her affair with a younger man.

On Tuesday, Dec. 18 at 1:00 p.m., the Afternoon Book Club will be meeting to discuss Three Tall Women by Edward Albee. The protagonist of the play, a compelling woman of more than ninety years old, reflects on her life with a mixture of shame, pleasure, regret, and satisfaction.
