SCOTCH PLAINS, NJ - For the fifth year in a row, the Scotch Plains Rescue Squad will be holding its Pancake Breakfast. The date is Feb. 9 from 8 a.m. to noon at 1916 Bartle Ave.
The cost of the breakfast is $5 per person for all you can eat. Baskets will be raffled, and all proceeds will be used to help keep the Rescue Squad 100 percent volunteer. The Scotch Plains Rescue Squad has remained a volunteer organization and has served the community for over 75 years.
The Rescue Squad welcomes new members as well as those interested in contributing time and talent to support the organization. Individuals can apply for membership once they turn 18 years of age, or serve as a cadet at age 16. Those ages 14 or older can serve on the Scotch Plains Rescue Squad Auxiliary.

The Rescue Squad has many services available for those in the community with need. Hospital equipment, such as wheelchairs, canes and crutches are available for use, free of charge. The Scotch Plains Rescue Squad relies on ongoing community support. These contributions enable the Squad to fulfill their motto, Neighbors Helping Neighbors. We Work For Pride Not Pay.
