Second Green Drinks Event at Kroghs Tonight

SPARTA, NJ- The first  “Green Drinks” Gathering was such a success in January, the Food Shed Alliance  is holding another on Monday, March 10th (6:00 pm – 9:00 pm) for a second gathering, sponsored by the Foodshed Alliance, at Krogh’s Restaurant and Brew Pub in Sparta.

Green Drinks” Gatherings are an international phenomenon - - informal social and networking gatherings for people interested in developing sustainable business and life styles, and being green.

Our “Green Drinks” Gathering will be an opportunity for farmers in the  region to get together in an informal setting to relax, enjoy each other’s company and network! Talk shop or not, just get together and have a great time! Everyone is welcome – the drinks aren’t “green,” just the conversation!

It’s FREE to get in.  Guests will mingle in the pub area.   Guests can order and pay for any food and drinks, alcoholic and non-alcoholic, from the menu. Dining Room will also be open for those who wish to sit down for dinner.  Krogh’s Restaurant and Brew Pub is located at 23 White Deer Plaza, Sparta Township, NJ 07871.

Krogh’s is offering 50% off appetizers until 6:30 pm and 20% off other food and all drinks alcoholic & nonalcoholic alike,  as a thank you for choosing Krogh’s to host the 2nd “Green Drinks” Gathering.

SPARTA, NJ – A Sparta man faces numerous charges including driving while intoxicated after speeding past a police car on Woodport Road.  Jake Forshey drove past police officer Tom Snyder on January 8 around 2:50 a.m, according to police.
