TRENTON, NJ – Senator Peter Barnes graciously accepted Senator Kevin O'Toole's ALS Ice Bucket Challenge to raise awareness for ALS, also known as Lou Gehrig’s Disease.
On the steps of the New Jersey State House, Senator Barnes was doused with a large bucket of ice cold water by staffers.
“I took the ALS Ice bucket challenge to raise awareness and money to find a cure for ALS,” said Senator Barnes.
Senator Barnes also nominated fellow Democrats, Edison Mayor Tom Lankey, and his running mates Assemblyman Patrick Diegnan and Assemblywoman Nancy Pinkin to take the ALS Ice bucket challenge.
