HOBOKEN, NJ - United States Senator Cory Booker and The Internet Association presents the Tech and Social Media Innovation Forum for small businesses and entrepreneurs at Edwin A. Stevens Hall, Stevens Institute of Technology, Hoboken, NJ on Friday July 11, 2014  9:00 AM - 12:00 PM. 

Join the discussion on how small businesses can use technology and innovation to grow, with confirmed panelists Facebook, Google, Yelp, websignia, CardCash and more powerhouse tech companies!

As a member of the Senate Small Business and Entrepreneurship Committee and the Commerce Committee’s Subcommittee on Communications, Technology and the Internet, Senator Booker knows how the Internet and new technology can provide the greatest tools for entrepreneurs. Technology has proven time and again to be a ladder for social and economic mobility, and that is particularly true for new businesses trying to put their name on the map. Startups and other small businesses from Silicon Alley to New Jersey are using a range of technical platforms to start and grow their businesses.

The feature discussion will consist of a panel with some of the biggest U.S. technology companies including Facebook, Google, Yelp and two NJ Small Businesses that use social media to connect with its customers; Websignia and CardCash. These powerhouse tech companies will explain to New Jersey small businesses the services they offer and how their platforms can help any organization or company communicate with their customers, drive traffic, and increase growth.
