NEW PROVIDENCE, NJ – The Pioneers’ girls lacrosse program celebrated the accomplishments of their graduating class on Monday. What the New Providence faithful saw after during the game greatly overshadowed the pregame ceremonies.

Playing in their final tune-up before the state tournament, the New Providence senior class scored nine goals to lead the Pioneers to a 13-5 victory over Mount St. Mary at Miller Field.

Jillian Balog and Dominique Iacovelli each scored three times in the game, while fellow senior Kim Morecraft scored twice and added three assists in the victory.
