BERNARDSVILLE, NJ — The Somerset County Department of Health on Friday reported a total of 5,269 cases of the COVID-19 coronavirus in the county, an increase of 30 cases overnight.

Bernardsville had one additional case Friday. There have been a total of 95 confirmed cases in the borough over the last seven months. Bedminster has had 58 confirmed cases.

There are 405 hospitalizations across the entire state that are either confirmed or suspected COVID-19 cases. The number of hospitalizations has fallen by 128 patients since the beginning of the month, and are down close to 95 percent from the figure of more than 8,000 hospitalized at the virus' peak in April.cor
