BERKELEY HEIGHTS, NJ - Seventh Stage's "Farewell Tour" held their encore performance at Pete's Place Family Restaurant last Friday to a full house of fans. The Berkeley Heights fans enjoyed the evening's mix of acoustic and electric classics that made the "bittersweet" send off a night to remember.
"The boys and I had a fantastic time on Friday night - right up until the last encore," said lead singer Candice Eisenberger of Berkeley Heights. "It was a bittersweet evening, as we knew this would be our last performance, but for the occasional reunion show."
The multi-talented band member Will Davila will be starting school at the prestigious Los Angeles County High School of the Arts. With the absence of Davila and his father, Victor, who plays guitar and vocals for the band, Seventh Stage plans to dissolve until the inevitable future reunion shows.
The band members plan to pursue other projects, both solo and collectively. "We are actively seeking other musicians, and hope to be up and running very soon," said Eisenberger.
Eisenberger also sings with the cover band "Rearview Mirror" with several local performances scheduled -- including the next "Live Music Night" at Pete's Place; Heights Fest on Aug. 16 at Mt. Carmel Field; and at Zupko's in Dunellen on Saturday, Aug. 2.
In addition to Eisenberger's musical shows, she also performs stand up comedy in clubs all over New York and New Jersey. "Look for a comedy night to be coming to Pete's Place soon," said Eisenberger.
"Special thanks to Steve Guastamacchia [owner of Pete's Place] for giving us a great send off," said Eisenberger. "The guys and I agreed that it was one of our best shows. The crowd was really into it, and everyone was dancing, which gives us energy back. It was a great night!"
