Shelter Pets Will Be Looking for Families at Farmers' Market Saturday

August 22, 2014 at 12:20 PM

MONTCLAIR, NJ - Meet some of the Montclair Animal Shelter's darling doggies at the Walnut Street Farmers’ Market this Saturday. Tiger, Tina, Buddy Love, Bonnie, and Olga will be at the market from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. with their terrific shelter volunteer humans Mary Wagner, John Sieck and Nancy Willis. Last week our sweet dog Stephanie found a foster home -- fostering a pet is always an option too!

If bring you home your new BFF from the event, you’ll get 50% off the adoption fee. Half price shelter adoption costs are: $70 for dogs ($140 full fee) and $50 for cats ($100 full fee).

The Montclair Farmers’ Market is held in the Walnut Street train station parking lot every Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The market runs all summer and through the fall until Thanksgiving.

For more information about the famers’ market adoption event, contact shelter volunteer Nancy Willis at NancyW@MLBPA.ORG.
