BERKELEY HEIGHTS, NJ - Sherman BBQ & Cafe, a new Portuguese BBQ is opening on Monday, March 17 at the Berkeley Heights train station. Open 5 a.m. to 9 p.m, Monday through Friday and 7 a.m. to 9 p.m., Saturday and Sunday..
Owner Abel Martinez and chef Francisco Martinez bring the experience of the Newark Portuguese restaurant scene to Berkeley Heights. Menu will include traditional BBQ with chicken, ribs, pork and steak cooked on an authentic charcoal grill.
Oscar Mejia told The Alternative Press of Berkeley Heights the cafe will serve sandwiches and custom omelets for breakfast and traditional BBQ menu for lunch and dinner. Delivery is available for breakfast between 6 - 11 a.m. in addition to convenient advance order pick-up.
