NEWARK, NJ - Lauren Arias scored two goals and Molly Coyne was credited with three assists when the Chatham-Madison girls ice hockey team scored six times in the first period on the way to a 9-0 win over Kent Place on Friday at the Barnabas Health Hockey House.

Daniella Groh, Jennifer Olnowich, Veronica Quidore and Hannah Bedell each scored a goal in the opening period for Chatison (2-0). Bedell and Arias finished with two goals apiece for the Madison-Chatham team, which received a goal and four assists from Coyne.

Ginger Boles made 25 saves to notch the shutout for Chatison.
