WESTFIELD, NJ — Six Westfield High School athletes took part in the school's National Letter of Intent Day Nov. 14. Prospective student athletes enrolling in colleges for the 2014-2015 school year signed agreements to attend educational institutions and receive financial aid.
Westfield students Sarah Cronin (girls’ swimming, Brown University), Karli Sottung (girls’ soccer, The US Naval Accademy), Mary Randazzo (girls’s lacrosse, University of Massachusetts), Alexis Kardias (girls’ lacrosse, University of Southern California), Anna Tanji (girls lacrosse, College of the Holy Cross) and Caroline Baldwin (girls swimming, University of North Carolina) signed national letters of intent that afternoon.
“WHS is so proud of our student-athletes,” said Athletic Director Sandra Mamary. “They work hard in the classroom and on the playing field. Their passion and tenacity is evident today as they sign their national letters of intent.”
