PATERSON, NJ- “Determination,” Paterson Police Director said, put a “quick end” to an illegal drugs operation on Monday.
According to a statement released on Thursday, members of the Paterson Police Department’s Narcotic Division launched an investigation into alleged drug selling at 490 Park Avenue following the receipt of information from concerned residents. The suspect, they said, was “a heavy set, dark skin male with dreadlocks with the tips colored.”
Acting on this description “skilled investigators” launched an investigation that ended in the arrest of two Paterson men and a Hopatcong man.
Terrence Pailen, 40, was charged with the possession of 910 glassines of heroin, as well as various amounts of crack cocaine and powder cocaine. He also faces charges related to attempting to sell 20 glassines of heroin and one baggie of crack cocaine to Christopher Atrash, 49, of Hopatcong.
John Parker, 32, was also charged with Loitering and possession of drug paraphernalia.
According to the report Pailen was found to be in possession of $17,281 in U.S. currency.
