Slew of Player, Coach Honors Caps Spectacular Season for Summit Football

SUMMIT, NJ - Perfection has its rewards.

After running the table by going undefeated in regular- and post-season play, capturing their second consecutive State Championship, and even being honored at City Hall by Mayor Ellen Dickson and the Common Council, the honors keep pouring in for the Summit High School Varsity Football team.
The Newark Star-Ledger has released its year-end award winners and, fittingly, the Hilltopper players and their Head Coach Kevin Kostibos will have to make more room in their trophy cases.  In addition to finishing the season as the number-one ranked team in Union County, the number-two ranked team in Group 3 Statewide, and the number 18 team in all of New Jersey, the Summit football team earned the following accolades:
