SPOTSWOOD, NJ - The Friends of the Spotswood Public Library are once again holding a sock and mitten drive to help make winter a bit warmer for Middlesex County residents. The Friends are leading their second annual Sock and Mitten Drive to benefit the more than 400 families who utilize the Alice's CUP Food Pantry.

Alice's CUP, located on Main Street in the borough, assists any Middlesex County family in need. The busy food pantry relies entirely on donations and volunteers to keep its shelves filled.

All donations of new socks, mittens and gloves can be dropped off at the Spotswood Public Library. The drive is ongoing and donations baskets are available at the circulation desk. All of the collected socks, mittens and gloves will be donated through Alice's CUP.
