LIVINGSTON, NJ -- Jess Bullion struck out 15 batters to help spark Livingston to a 4-3 softball victory over Montclair on Tuesday.

Bullion pitched a three-hitter and walked six in addition to her 15 strikeouts. Montclair (13-12) scored one run in the second inning and two in the fourth.

Livingston (19-8) broke a 3-3 tie in the bottom of the fifth inning. Earlier in the game, Nathalia DiIanni led off the bottom of the first with a triple and scored on error. Chloe Saperstein hit a two-out, two-run single in the third inning for the Lancers.

On Monday, Livingston lost, 5-0, to Mount Olive at home in the Section 1, Group 4 quarterfinals. The Lancers were shut out despite cranking out eight hits in the game. Hailey Reuter, Saperstein and Gracie Bent each collected two hits for Livingston. Bent had the only extra-base hit, a double.

Bullion struck out eight batters and walked two against Mount Olive, giving her 23 strikeouts in her last two games.
