PLAINFIELD, NJ - Plainfield's Board of Education meeting opened on Tuesday evening with Interim Superintendent Dr. Ronald Bolandi announcing early dismissal for all schools in the district on Wednesday, Feb. 20 due to impending inclement weather.


According to the district's website and Facebook page, all schools will be following a “half-day” schedule.  All elementary schools, Cedarbrook K-8 Center, and PAAAS will be dismissed at 12:10 p.m.  Plainfield High School will be dismissed at 12:20 p.m., and Maxson and Hubbard Middle Schools will be dismissed at 12:30 p.m.

All after school activities including sporting events, after school programs and evening events are cancelled.

Cresthaven Academy, according to its Facebook page, will have an early dismissal at 12:45 p.m. All of its after-school program activities will also be cancelled.
