MORRIS TOWNSHIP, NJ - Ryan Sordillo and Danny Mahoney showed the Chatham youth how it's supposed to be done on Wednesday night.
With a group of Chatham Youth Hockey players in attendance, Sordillo collected four goals and an assist and Mahoney notched two goals and an assist in Chatham's 7-3 ice hockey win over Madison on "Senior Night" at Mennen Sports Arena.

Sordillo pushed his team-leading totals for Chatham (7-3-2) to 11 goals and 10 assists, netting the first three goals of the game for the Cougars. He also added an empty-net goal and an assist in the game. Senior defender Gabriel Park contributed a goal and an assist.
Sordillo scored a goal in the first period (see below), with help from Ronan Curry and Park.
The game was tied, 1-1, entering the second period when Sordillo's power-play goal (see below) ignited a four-goal outburst by the Cougars. Declan Curry and Mahoney were credited with assists on the goal.
Just 3:22 into the second period Sordillo received a pass from Ronan Curry and finished his breakaway chance (see below) for his third goal of the game and a 3-2 Chatham lead.
Mahoney followed with a goal off a pass from Spencer Spagnuolo, pushing the Cougar lead to 4-2. The Madison goalie never saw the shot (see below) until it hit the back of the net.
Park made it a 5-2 game 5:58 into the second period when he converted a pass from Sordillo. Madison (6-8-1) scored with 20 seconds left in the second period, but Chatham goalie Jen Olnowich shut out the Dodgers the rest of the way. Olnowich ended with 18 saves.
