SOUTH BRUNSWICK, NJ - The South Brunswick football team will have a new date, time and opponent to play this weekend.

The Vikings were to have played at home Friday evening against Monroe, but COVID-19 issues forced Monroe to cancel the game. In its place this weekend, South Brunswick will be playing Marlboro, also at home, Saturday at 11 a.m.

Another change in the South Brunswick athletic schedule was precipitated by positive virus tests at another school. The Vikings' boys soccer team was supposed to play at Bridgewater-Raritan Saturday afternoon, but that game has been canceled because Bridgewater-Raritan has temporarily suspended its athletic schedule in order to observe quarantine protocols.
