The South Mountain YMCA, located at 13 Jefferson Ave. in Maplewood, will be hosting an Open House on Friday, February, 19th from 7-8:30pm for their summer day camps. The Summer Camp Open House is a great opportunity for parents and children interested in summer camp to see what the South Mountain YMCA has to offer. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet with the Camp Directors, get their questions answered and find out information concerning financial assistance and our sibling discount.

The South Mountain YMCA offers 14 different summer day camps for children entering pre-school through 10th grade. Campers may elect to sign up for a traditional summer camp where they can play a variety of sports and games, do arts and crafts, go swimming and enjoy exciting field trips. On the other hand if a child decides they want to experience something different, they may decide to enroll in one of the South Mountain YMCA's specialty camps, which give children the opportunity to focus on specific activities that interest them such as dramatics, nature and the environment, sports, skateboarding, gymnastics and more.

The YMCA is the local charity of choice. Financial assistance is available because at the South Mountain YMCA no one is turned away due to their inability to pay.
