SOUTH ORANGE, NJ – Police arrested two youths on charges of possession of marijuana in separate incidents.
Tallins Saintsulne, 19, of Maplewood, was arrested at 1:30 a.m. Aug. 7 after police received a call of a suspicious vehicle parked on Park Place. Police said Saintsulne was in possession of marijuana. On Aug. 2, a 16-year-old from South Orange was arrested at 9:40 p.m. at a park adjacent to the Community Center when police found the youth in possession of marijuana.
Both individuals were taken into custody and processed at police headquarters.
Police also arrested Gabriel Hildalgo, 34, of East Orange, after they received a call that Hildalgo was threatening a man with a large industrial nail. The arrest occurred at 7:30 a.m. on Aug. 2 on Valley Street.

Police are investigating the theft of an 18-speed silver men’s bicycle from a Warwick Avenue resident’s garage sometime overnight on July 30. The resident told police the thief or thieves entered the garage through an unlocked side door.
- Two residents reported their vehicles were burglarized and their GPS units were stolen. A West South Orange Avenue resident said someone entered her vehicle and took a GPS unit, an old cell phone and approximately $20 in change. The police report did not state when the theft occurred. The vehicle was parked in the resident’s driveway. A South Orange Avenue resident told police that someone took a GPS unit and a duffle bag from her vehicle sometime overnight on Aug. 1.
