SOUTH ORANGE, NJ – Several South Orange restaurants are offering special Valentine’s Day menus.
Giorgio’s, 52 Vose Ave., offers a complete dinner, including an appetizer, an entree, dessert and coffee, for $45.99 per person.
Pandang Asian Bistro, 12 Village Plaza, is serving Thai red curry, which is a mixture of chicken, shrimp, lemon grass, basil and a little coconut milk. It also will have black salmon, which is salmon with sesame seeds on top and vegetables on the bottom. Diners also can enjoy a Valentine’s Day sweetheart roll.
The Blue Plate Special, 325 Irvington Ave., will serve a seven-course meal, but the restaurant is sold out for Thursday.
However, some of its Valentine’s Day menu selections will be offered on Friday and Saturday, as well.
The Valentine’s Day menu includes a choice between tenderloin with borgonzola, rack of lamb, or market fresh fish. Next up there is honey ginger dunk summer roll, strawberry champagne soup, osier po’boy, a citrus fennel salad, a cheese plate and dessert.
