South Orange Street Fair Offers Activities for All This Sunday


SOUTH ORANGE, NJ – The annual South Orange Street Fair will be this Sunday, Sept. 29, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., on South Orange Avenue between Scotland Road and Vose Avenue. More than 70 crafters, artists, vendors, non-profit organizations and downtown merchants will be on hand to provide a wide array of arts, products, services and food.

There will be live entertainment, including performance by the Flying Dogs of Jupiter Band.  Near Village Plaza, DJ John will host an outdoor dance party beginning at 11 a.m.

For the kids, there will be inflatable rides, games, clowns and jugglers.

WDHA-FM and NJ-101.5-FM radio stations will be at the street fair as well.  They will be awarding prizes until their supplies run out.

A free shuttle will run continuously between the South Orange Street Fair and the Maplewood Art Walk & Music Fest, which is happening at the same time in downtown MAplewood.  The shuttle will make stops at the SOPAC parking lot in South Orange and the Ricalton Square parking lot in Maplewood.  The shuttle is being provided by Overlook Hospital/Atlantic Health.
