SOUTH ORANGE, NJ – The last of the boxes were moved into Village Hall’s temporary location on the third floor of 76 South Orange Ave. on Sunday.
The move comes as the result of a major renovation of the 101 South Orange Ave. location, which is expected to take approximately two years and cost an estimated $6.5 million.
"Today we're still unpacking and that should be done soon, but we are open for business," said Adam Loehner, deputy administrator.
The new location houses all of the vital services from the original building across the street, including tax offices, conference areas and building administration.
While village services are in their temporary location, most major meetings will be held at SOPAC.
