COOPERSTOWN NY, - The South Plainfield 12U Thunder ended their three game tournament losing streak by erupting for 15 runs in a 15-1 rout of the Massachusetts Badgers.

South Plainfield played a triple-header yesterday, and was scheduled to play another triple-header today.  In the opening of today’s three-game set the Thunder jumped right on the Badgers from the start. 

Vincent Esposito, Body Donovan and Sam Nieves pitched a combined three hitter.
The Thunder was like lightning at the plate cracking four home runs in the game.  Jordan Hamberg revved up the Thunder offense smacking two homeruns.  Cooper Smith and Demarcus Shepard each homered in the 15-1 rout.  South Plainfield’s Vincent Esposito, Body Donovan and Kennedy Ferguson each added to the offensive juggernaut.
