SOUTH PLAINFIELD, NJ – The South Plainfield Tigers’ girls basketball team scored 29 points in the second half to shake off a five-point first half deficit to defeat Voorhees, 51-44.
South Plainfield was led by guard Sarah Cargill, who had 15 points. The Tigers' Kate McLaughlin and Yasmeen Mighty each contributed 11 points in a winning effort for South Plainfield. Voorhees was led by Erin Jones who had 14 points. The victory improves South Plainfield’s record to 16-8 on the season.
